Yanase Jun is a brilliant 3D CG designer who has returned to Japan after working abroad in Canada. Now at Max Pictures, he's tasked with mentoring new hire Kaneda Yuki—a quiet, standoffish junior who seems to avoid him at all costs. But Yanase doesn't know that Kaneda is actually his biggest fan, harboring a secret admiration that borders on worship. When a drunken after-work party reveals Kaneda's true, flustered feelings, a painfully awkward yet endearing romance begins to bloom between the stoic mentor and his shy admirer. As they navigate office gossip, miscommunications, and their own insecurities, both must learn to speak their hearts before the distance grows too wide. Adapted from Hare Shinta's manga, this series blends lighthearted comedy with tender moments of vulnerability, set against the vibrant backdrop of the CG animation industry.

I'm a sucker for awkward office romances and this one hit all the right notes for me. Naito Shuichiro's longing stares literally made my heart flutter every episode. Yes, the plot drags a bit in the middle, but the cute phone alarm scene and the soft ending had me grinning for days. Perfect for a cozy binge if you're in a fluffy mood.

Started strong but quickly got repetitive. The miscommunication trope is overused here, and the last two episodes feel like filler. I wanted to shake both leads and scream 'just talk to each other!' The side characters are completely forgettable. Only Naito's performance kept me from dropping it entirely.

As a fan of the manga, I was disappointed by the changes. Kaneda's character was flattened into a creepy worshipper instead of the respectful admirer he is in the source. The drama also swaps the original seme's POV for the uke's, losing the emotional depth. It's still cute, but a pale reflection of what could have been.

Visually this is one of the nicer Japanese BLs I've seen. The natural lighting, clean framing, and clever use of the ending sequence (gradually expanding the background each episode) were a treat. The CG office setting is well-realized too. Too bad the writing couldn't match the visual quality.
