What happens when a routine classroom seating shuffle changes everything? In this tender Japanese BL short, the popular and seemingly untouchable Haruki finds himself seated behind the quiet, overlooked Rei. At first, it's just awkward small talk and borrowed notes—but soon, Haruki begins to notice lingering glances, fumbled words, and a warmth in Rei's presence that he can't ignore. Based on a beloved web novel, *Sekigae Shitara, Doyara Ushiro no Otoko ga Ore no Koto Sukirashii* captures the exhilarating uncertainty of first love. As Haruki starts to piece together Rei's hidden feelings, the two shyly navigate confession, jealousy, and the sweet terror of being seen. With its intimate focus on stolen moments and gentle revelations, this single-episode drama delivers a complete, heart-fluttering journey that will leave you smiling long after the credits roll.

I'm literally melting! Haruki and Rei have the sweetest chemistry—every stolen glance and accidental hand brush made my heart race. This is exactly the kind of innocent, heart-fluttering BL I needed. No drama, just pure love. 10/10 would rewatch a hundred times.

As a one-episode adaptation, it's charming but a bit rushed. The transition from 'noticing him' to 'confessing' feels abrupt—I wish they'd spread it out more. Still, the acting is natural and the ending is satisfying enough. Solid for what it is.

The soft lighting and close-up shots of the school rooftop and empty classroom are absolutely gorgeous. Every frame looks like a painting. The slow-motion moment when Rei smiles for the first time? Cinematic perfection!

I was nervous about a one-episode adaptation of my favorite web novel, but they captured the essence beautifully. The dialogue is almost verbatim from key chapters, and the confession scene gave me exactly the same butterflies as the book. Thank you for not ruining it!

A sweet story, but I wish they addressed the power imbalance a bit more—the popular guy pursuing the quiet one can feel slightly one-sided. That said, Rei's agency is respected, and there's no coercion. A good effort, but could have been more nuanced.
