A young YouTube creator hires a freelance cameraman to shoot a promotional video, expecting nothing more than a routine collaboration. But when the shoot takes an unexpected turn, boundaries blur and unspoken desires surface, leading to a tense, charged encounter that neither of them anticipated. This Thai short film explores the fragile line between professional detachment and personal vulnerability, as the creator finds himself drawn into a dangerous game of power, consent, and hidden longing. With its minimal cast and claustrophobic setting, *Satyriasis* delivers a raw, unsettling portrait of attraction and coercion, forcing viewers to question where performance ends and reality begins. Though brief, the film packs an emotional punch, leaving a lingering unease that speaks to the complexities of queer desire and the consequences of crossing lines.

I appreciate that a BL short film is willing to tackle the grey areas of consent, but the execution felt rushed and the power dynamics weren't examined deeply enough. The final scene left me more confused than enlightened. It's a start, but not a satisfying exploration.

I went in expecting a sweet romance, but this was so much darker—and honestly, that's what made it stick with me. Link's performance is incredible, and though the chemistry is painful rather than sweet, I couldn't look away. Not for everyone, but I found it haunting.

The premise is intriguing, but the short film format doesn't do it justice. Pacing is off, character motivations are vague, and the so-called 'climax' feels more confusing than cathartic. A longer runtime could have fleshed out the tension properly.

Visually, this short film is stunning. The lighting shifts from cold clinical to warm invasive, mirroring the emotional invasion perfectly. Every frame is composed with intention, and the close-ups capture raw micro-expressions that most BLs ignore. A masterclass in visual storytelling.

The ambient sound design is effective—lots of tense silences and sudden noises that kept me on edge. But the lack of a proper score or theme song made the emotional beats feel a bit hollow. A stronger musical layer could have elevated the atmosphere even more.
