Sangmin Dinneaw is a chaotic, heartwarming, and utterly unhinged Thai-Korean BL that defies all expectations. The story follows Sangmin, a Korean man who returns to a rural Thai village after ten years to reunite with Dinneaw, the childhood friend whose family once hosted him as an exchange student. Their reunion is sweet and awkward—Sangmin's Korean and Dinneaw's Thai create a realistic, endearing language barrier that adds charm to every interaction. But Sangmin's return is shrouded in mystery: mysterious headaches, secret calls, and a past he refuses to discuss. As the two navigate rekindled feelings, they're surrounded by an eccentric cast: Dinneaw's fiercely protective mother Orn, a love triangle with his best friend Tor, a power-hungry hotel owner, and side couples that bring the show's signature brand of ridiculous, horny chaos. What makes Sangmin Dinneaw special is its refusal to take itself seriously, blending genuine emotional moments—like Orn's unconditional love and Sangmin's tragic backstory—with scenes so absurd (pillow romance, cucumber encounters, and cowboy-themed intimacy) that you'll question your own sanity. It's a fever dream of a series that manages to be both sweet and scandalous.

I came for the sweet main couple and stayed for the absolute madness. Sangmin and Dinneaw have the most adorable chemistry—their language struggles made every 'I love you' feel earned. Yes, the side plots are insane (pillow scene, anyone?), but I laughed so hard I cried. Mama Orn is the real MVP. If you can switch off your brain, this is pure joy.

I'm a sucker for second couples, and TorAthit delivered the angst and redemption arc I needed. Their cowboy scene was weirdly hot? I loved how their relationship evolved from unrequited love to genuine care. Main couple was sweet too, but the endless third-couple cucumber stuff nearly made me drop the show. Still, Non and Joke acted their hearts out.

What a mess. The first few episodes had promise—realistic language barrier, a sweet reunion. Then the writers apparently got high and forgot about plot coherence. Memory loss, random murder attempts, and a finale that spends more time on a cucumber than on the leads' reunion. The tonal whiplash is unbearable. Cast deserved better.

I can't recommend this due to the troubling consent dynamics. Multiple side characters engage in non-consensual touching played for laughs, and a doctor pressures a patient into surgery without proper consent. The constant sexual harassment framed as comedy is gross. Even the main couple's sweetness doesn't justify the lack of basic ethical boundaries. Skip it.

The nostalgia song 'Memories' is genuinely beautiful and saved emotional scenes from the chaos. The mix of Thai and Korean music in the background was refreshing. But the audio editing felt sloppy—random sound effects over dramatic moments. If they had trimmed the ridiculous horny montages and focused on the OST, this could've been a cult classic. I'll stream the song, not rewatch the show.
