This series wrecked me in the best way. Mintra's journey from naive bride to a woman forced to confront betrayal is heartbreakingly realistic. I loved how every character felt human—Peem is weak, Jack is broken, and Ton is the light she deserves. The script is excellent, even if the ending left me sobbing. A must-watch if you like dark, emotional BL with real stakes.

I appreciate the bold themes, but the pacing is glacial in the middle episodes. Mintra's refusal to leave Peem despite overwhelming red flags felt frustrating rather than tragic. The acting saves it, especially Captain's Jack, but the plot relies too much on characters making irrational choices. Not for everyone, but worth a watch for the raw performances.

The cinematography is surprisingly beautiful for a Thai lakorn from 2017—soft lighting, intimate framing, and a color palette that shifts from warm to cold as the marriage crumbles. Director knows how to use silence. The assault scene is hard to watch but handled with care. I'd rate higher if the OST had been stronger; the background music felt generic.

The rape scene is brutal but necessary to show Jack's desperation. That said, the series never fully condemns Peem's manipulation of Mintra—it romanticizes his 'struggle' a bit too much. Still, important for conversations on consent and queer visibility in Thai media.
