In the cutthroat corporate world of Tokyo, two impossibly handsome and talented executives—the cool and collected Ozaki and the brilliant and beautiful Tsuburaya—are the undisputed stars of their company. But when their boss dubs them the 'two tops of the company,' a fierce rivalry ignites over who truly deserves the crown. As they compete for dominance both in the boardroom and in the bedroom (with each insisting on being the 'top'), their absurdly over-the-top antics—complete with dramatic kabedons, exaggerated stares, and a soundtrack that amplifies every moment of 'perfection'—turn the office into a live-action manga. Adapted from the popular yaoi manga, this Japanese film leans fully into its campy, hyperbolic style, delivering a whirlwind of laughs, bizarre situations, and a rivalry that slowly, awkwardly, and hilariously teeters toward something more. It's a guilty pleasure for those who love BL that doesn't take itself too seriously.

I get that it's meant to be a comedy, but the acting is so stiff and the plot feels like a string of random manga tropes stitched together. The romance is practically nonexistent, and the whole 'two tops' rivalry gets repetitive fast. Only watch if you're in the mood for something mindless.

As a huge fan of the original manga, I was thrilled to see it brought to life exactly as drawn—kabedons out of nowhere, overreactions, the works. Yes, the acting is over-the-top, but that's the point! It's a faithful adaptation, even if the film's pacing is a bit rushed. A fun watch for those who love the source material.

Okay, I know this movie is ridiculous, but I couldn't stop laughing! Ozaki is such a hilarious dork, and the chemistry between the two leads is surprisingly cute in a weird way. Yes, I wanted more romance, but the rivalry is so absurd that I was shipping them anyway. Perfect bad-day cure.

The music is so forgettable I can't even hum a single tune after watching. The violin cliché during 'perfect' moments was cringeworthy. Combined with stiff acting and a plot that goes nowhere, I found very little to enjoy even as a comedy. Skip this one.

I tried to see the humor, but the constant kabedon and physical intimidation played for laughs left a bad taste in my mouth. The 'competition to be top' is framed as playful, but it reinforces heteronormative power dynamics. As a BL fan, I expect better treatment of consent, even in comedy.
