I am absolutely obsessed with Jane and Gun! The way he looks at him like he's both his salvation and his doom—I can't breathe. Every touch feels electric, and the wish-making metaphor just makes their love feel epic and tragic. I've already rewatched episode 7's rooftop scene ten times. MY HEART.

The premise is genuinely clever, and the acting is strong, but the pacing drags in the middle episodes. Some of the wish-rule logic feels inconsistent, and the climax relies a bit too much on characters acting foolishly. Still, it's far more creative than your average BL, so I'm giving it a solid 7.

This is the most beautifully shot BL I've seen in years. The use of shadows to represent secrets, the warm amber palette in Gun's scenes versus the cold blue when Jane is alone—it's a visual poem. Even the soccer match was choreographed with such dynamic camera work. I could frame every second.

While I appreciate the psychological depth, I'm concerned about the way Jane's manipulation is romanticized. He literally trades on Gun's desperation. The show tries to justify it with a tragic backstory, but the power imbalance is never fully addressed. Entertaining, but I wish it would grapple more critically with consent in supernatural bargains.

The OST is a character in itself. The main theme 'Price of a Wish' plays at exactly the right moments—pulling on heartstrings without being cheesy. The haunting piano motif that fades into Gun's humming? Perfection. I've been streaming the album nonstop.
