When Phat returns to Thailand nursing a shattered heart after a toxic six-year relationship, he finds refuge in the home of his close friend Mei and her younger brother, Mhok. What begins as a quiet healing retreat soon stirs deeper currents. Mhok, who has harbored a secret crush on Phat for years, sees this as his moment to step closer—but Phat is still raw, still tangled in memories of an abusive ex. Mei, a tarot-adept friend, attempts to guide Phat through a series of gentle rituals meant to cleanse his spirit and help him let go. Yet the heart doesn't follow a spellbook. As prolonged evenings of alcohol and honest conversations unfold, the line between comfort and new desire blurs. This intimate two-episode miniseries embraces the slow, painful beauty of moving on—and questions whether new love can truly bloom when the old wounds are still open. Warm, melancholic, and achingly human, *Right Time, Right You* is a meditation on timing, consent, and the quiet courage it takes to love again.

This broke me in the most beautiful way. I love how the show gives Phat space to grieve instead of rushing into romance. Mhok’s quiet longing and Phat’s hesitant smiles felt so real. The chemistry is off the charts even without any steamy scenes—just two souls trying to find their footing. A true hidden gem.

I wanted to like this more, but the pacing is glacial. Two episodes full of repetitive rituals and aimless conversations – I kept waiting for something to happen. The synopsis promised black magic, but it's just tarot and tea. The ending also felt unresolved; Phat agrees to date Mhok, but there's zero romantic spark left. Disappointing for such a short runtime.

The warm, golden lighting and soft focus made every frame feel like a memory you want to hold onto. I loved the single-location intimacy—it forces you to pay attention to micro-expressions and the way light falls on a sad face. The guitar-heavy soundtrack adds to the lullaby vibe. Yes, it’s slow, but it’s meant to be savored like a slow sigh.

I appreciate that the show takes domestic abuse seriously—Phat’s trauma isn’t brushed aside. But I’m uneasy with how Mhok pursues him so relentlessly despite Phat’s clear signs of not being ready. It flirts with the idea that persistence equals romance, which can be problematic. Still, the honest conversations about past abuse and healing are handled with care, and the acting is superb.

The music is the real MVP here – a gentle acoustic score that wraps around you like a blanket. I especially loved the moment when the background guitar fades into complete silence during Phat’s confrontation with his ex – that directorial choice gave me chills. My only complaint is inconsistent audio transitions that sometimes jar you out of the mood. Still, the OST alone makes this worth a listen.
