Wu Suo Wei has always lived in the shadow of his wealthy ex-girlfriend's insults. Determined to break free from his humble beginnings, he reinvents himself and launches a business, only to find himself entangled with the enigmatic and dangerous Chi Cheng. Chi Cheng is a man who commands respect and fear, with a collection of snakes that mirror his own cold, calculated nature. When a chance encounter turns into a twisted game of revenge and desire, Wu Suo Wei discovers that his schemes are no match for Chi Cheng's possessive obsession. What starts as a battle of wits quickly spirals into a dark, intoxicating romance where boundaries are blurred, and consent becomes a fragile line. With a cast of morally gray characters, unexpected friendships, and a plot that refuses to play it safe, 'Revenged Love' is a thrilling, controversial, and utterly addictive Chinese BL that will keep you guessing until the very end. This is not your typical love story—it's a raw, unflinching look at power, manipulation, and the desperate need to be seen.

I am ruined. This drama completely hijacked my emotions from episode 5 onward. The way Chi Cheng transforms from a cold predator to a man completely devoted to Wu Suo Wei is pure poetry. Ziyu and Tian Xuning have insane chemistry — every touch, every glare, every tear feels painfully real. Yes, it's dark and problematic, but that's exactly why it works. This is not a fluffy romance; it's a raw, obsessive, and beautiful mess. I've rewatched Episode 10 at least ten times. If you want something that will actually make you FEEL, watch this.

Can we talk about the second couple? Guo Chengyu and Xiaoshuai completely stole my heart. Their story is so much more painful and nuanced than the main leads — it's a slow burn of redemption and hidden scars. I wish they had more screen time, but what we got was absolutely devastating in the best way. The main couple is intense and steamy, but the side couple gave this drama its emotional soul. Definitely a highlight for me.

The OST in this show is surprisingly good! I didn't expect such a fitting soundtrack to accompany all the chaos. The main theme plays during the most pivotal moments and it elevates every scene. The background score during the darker scenes has this haunting quality that really gets under your skin. I actually bought the OST after finishing the series. The music alone makes this worth watching, even if the plot has some messy parts.

Visually, this drama is a mixed bag. Some scenes are stunningly lit — the night market sequences and the snake room have this moody, film-noir vibe that I absolutely loved. Other times, the dubbing and audio sync issues broke the immersion. But when the cinematography hits, it really hits. The use of shadows to reflect Chi Cheng's dual nature was clever. The production value is higher than most Chinese BLs, even if it's not perfect.

I don't get the hype. The plot is all over the place — tax evasion, random kidnappings, and a villain dad that comes out of nowhere. The second half feels like the writers were making it up as they went along. Chi Cheng's character is supposed to be this powerful crime boss but his decisions are so stupid sometimes. The only reason I finished was the chemistry between the leads, but that's not enough to carry 24 episodes. Disappointing.

As someone who read the original novel 'Counterattack' years ago, this adaptation is a huge letdown. They cut the most important scene where Chi Cheng lets Wu Suo Wei top him — that was the ultimate sign of trust and growth, and they removed it entirely! The dubbing makes the acting feel robotic, and the emotional beats from the book are rushed or missing. If you haven't read the novel, maybe you'll enjoy it more, but for me, this was a pale imitation.

I'm shocked this has such a high rating. The first episode literally has an off-screen gang rape ordered by the male lead, and the show expects us to root for this couple? Chi Cheng rapes Wu Suo Wei repeatedly, and it's framed as romantic. This isn't 'morally gray' — it's abuse apologetics. I don't care how much chemistry the actors have; this is dangerous, irresponsible storytelling. Do not watch if you have any respect for consent or healthy relationships.
