In the halls of a bustling Thai high school, a group of students discovers that love isn't always a straight line—sometimes it’s a beautiful, messy restart. When introverted artist Aoftion unexpectedly reconnects with his childhood best friend Tommy, buried feelings resurface, forcing them to confront the painful breakup that drove them apart. Meanwhile, popular athlete Pim finds herself tangled in a complicated friendship with the enigmatic JJ, while class clown Nammon navigates his own unexpected crush. Set against a backdrop of exams, basketball games, and late-night study sessions, *Restart* weaves together multiple love stories that explore second chances, self-acceptance, and the courage it takes to hit reset on your heart. With tender performances and a refreshingly honest look at young queer love, this series captures the bittersweet thrill of falling for someone all over again.

I’m completely in love with this show! Aoftion and Tommy’s second-chance romance had me crying happy tears. Their slow-burn reconnection felt so real and earned. Definitely one of the sweetest Thai BLs I’ve seen in a while.

The emotional beats are nice, but the pacing drags in the middle episodes. Some of the side plots feel underdeveloped, especially JJ's arc. It’s charming, but I wish it had tightened the narrative a bit more.

Visually, this drama is a treat. The soft pastel lighting and thoughtful framing really elevate the school setting. Every scene with the sunset rooftop talks is pure art. Soundtrack is also lovely and fits the mood perfectly.

I appreciate that the show handles consent and identity with care. Characters talk through their feelings instead of relying on jealousy tropes. It’s refreshing for a school BL, even if some conversations felt a bit on the nose.

Pim and JJ’s slow-burn friends-to-lovers was my absolute favorite! Their awkwardness and quiet moments stole the show for me. I wish we’d gotten more episodes of just them. That say-what-you-feel scene in episode 8? Perfection.
