What if the path not taken leads to a happier destination? *Reloved: Otherwise, Us* is a special single-episode stand-alone that reimagines the story of Don and Pond—the emotional core of the original series—by offering an alternate timeline where their love dares to choose itself. Blending stunning, dreamlike visuals with a hauntingly beautiful score, this Thai BL short film follows the couple as they navigate a parallel reality free from past regrets, societal pressure, and the weight of others' expectations. The result is a tender, introspective love letter to second chances and the courage it takes to simply say 'yes' to your own happiness. While the main couple's story takes a backseat, the heart of this episode belongs to Don and Pond, whose chemistry and vulnerability shine through every frame. A poignant exploration of choice, self-acceptance, and the quiet power of love, *Reloved* is a must-watch for fans craving a bittersweet yet hopeful closure.

Finally, the closure Don and Pond deserved. This special gave me everything I wanted—gorgeous cinematography, a haunting OST, and those two actors pouring their hearts into every scene. Yes, the main couple felt out of place, but I honestly didn't care. I'm just so thankful for that alternate ending. Bee and Year need their own series ASAP!

I appreciate the attempt at an artistic what-if, but the dialogue felt stiff and the personalities of both couples were watered down. Pond's constant smirking got on my nerves, and the main couple's scenes added nothing. Visually it's pretty, but as a story, it lacks the emotional punch of the original. Only watch if you're desperate for that specific alternate ending.

This is a visual poem. The color grading, the soft focus, the way the camera lingers on small gestures—it's like watching a painting come to life. Yes, the narrative is thin and the other couple feels awkward, but the aesthetic experience alone makes it worth my time. Plus, the music perfectly underscores every bittersweet moment.

I really liked how this special emphasizes choosing yourself before choosing another. The alternate timeline allows Don and Pond to make decisions based on their own desires rather than obligation. That said, the intimate scenes felt a bit choreographed and lacked the raw spontaneity that would make them more genuine. Still, a refreshingly mature take on consent and agency in a BL context.

It's a decent filler episode if you're a completionist. The alternate ending is sweet but not revolutionary, and without the context of the main series, it feels incomplete. The acting is fine, but the writing could have been tighter. I'd recommend it only to hardcore fans of the original couple.
