When Third, a quiet birdwatching enthusiast, hires his friend Pai for a weekend camping trip to a national park, he expects a simple escape from his crumbling long-distance relationship. Instead, he gets a drunken, heartbroken Pai who shows up after being dumped—mirroring Third's own emotional turmoil. As the two boys venture into the woods, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems: both are carrying secrets about their partners, and their chance encounter unravels a tangled web of infidelity, hidden identities, and unexpected feelings. What starts as a plan to expose the truth turns into a raw, messy journey of self-discovery and newfound connection. With only two episodes, this Thai miniseries packs a surprising emotional punch, blending melodrama with quiet moments of vulnerability.

I wanted to like this because the premise is interesting, but the execution is a mess. The flashbacks are repeated almost verbatim, and the 'twists' are so obvious you see them coming from the first scene. The ending feels completely disconnected from everything that came before. If you're here for a coherent story, skip it.

Honestly, I loved the emotional rollercoaster. The chemistry between Third and Pai might be subtle, but their journey from strangers to allies to something more felt raw and real. The confusion everyone talks about? I think it adds to the charm—it's like life, messy and unpredictable. That final scene on the bus gave me butterflies!

Refund Love deserves credit for putting sex work at the center of a BL narrative without sensationalizing it. The conversations about consent, boundaries, and the stigma around male and female escorts are surprisingly thoughtful. Too bad the repetitive editing and low production value undercut the message. Still, a meaningful watch if you can overlook the flaws.

I was actually more invested in the girls' relationship—Ann and Prang had this intense, tragic chemistry that the main couple lacked. Their arc of falling in love while cheating on their boyfriends was way more compelling, and I wish the show had given them more screen time. The boys' romance felt rushed and forced in comparison.
