Heartbroken after his secret relationship with Tee ends in humiliation, Wine wanders into an abandoned building and discovers Night, a mysterious amnesiac with a bizarre condition: he must drink human blood to survive. What begins as a strange act of compassion quickly spirals into a dark, obsessive romance. As Wine falls deeper under Night's spell, he hatches a twisted plan to secure a blood supply—by kidnapping his ex-lovers. Part vampire myth, part psychological thriller, this Thai indie film explores the extremes of loneliness, desperation, and the lengths one will go for a taste of love. With an eerie atmosphere, shocking twists, and an ending that refuses to offer easy answers, 'Red Wine in the Dark Night' is a bold, unsettling ride for viewers who crave something far outside the mainstream BL formula.

I went in expecting trash and came out obsessed. Fluke's Wine is so broken and desperate that I couldn't look away. The chemistry between him and Night (Pro Siwasit) is electric in the weirdest way—I actually bought their twisted love. Sure, the plot is a mess, but my heart ached the whole time. This is the kind of dark romance that stays with you.

I appreciate the ambition, but the execution is a trainwreck. The story jumps from one implausible decision to the next—why would Wine immediately trust a blood-sucking stranger? The ending makes zero sense, and the rushed 'love at first bite' kills any emotional payoff. Fluke acts his heart out, but even he can't save this script.

The lighting and color grading are stunning—bleak blues and deep reds that perfectly mirror Wine's emotional state. The abandoned building scenes are atmospheric as hell, and the camera loves Fluke's expressive face. It's a shame the narrative couldn't match the visual quality. Still, I'd watch it again just for the moody frames and the haunting score.

This movie is a minefield of red flags. Every relationship is built on manipulation, coercion, or outright kidnapping. Wine's obsession is framed as romantic, but it's textbook abuse. Night can't truly consent when his survival depends on Wine. I understand it's a dark thriller, but the lack of critical framing makes me uncomfortable. Fluke's acting is brilliant, but the content needs a serious content warning.

The music is the unsung hero of this film. The operatic pieces clash beautifully with the eerie synth tones, creating a dissonance that mirrors Wine's fractured mind. I've been hunting for the soundtrack ever since. The way the score builds tension during the kidnapping scenes is masterful. It's rare for a low-budget film to have such a memorable audio identity.
