In a dazzlingly colorful yet deeply unsettling parallel universe, an inexplicable pandemic has caused the birth of male babies to plummet, leaving men as precious 'national treasures' raised in isolation at a place called The Farm. When an annual government-sanctioned reality dating show, 'Ready, Set, Love,' selects five female contestants to compete for the hearts of five eligible Gentlemen, headstrong and pragmatic Day finds herself thrust into the glittering arena against her will. But beneath the cheerful games and manufactured romance lies a sinister system of control, exploitation, and hidden resistance. As Day navigates the competition alongside other memorable ladies and forms an unexpected connection with the enigmatic top Gentleman, Son, she uncovers a web of secrets that reaches from the Farm's gleaming towers to the underground safe haven of City Ground. This Thai gem blends bubbly rom-com energy with sharp dystopian commentary, delivering a fast-paced, six-episode binge that balances laugh-out-loud moments, genuine heart, and a surprising amount of LGBTQ+ representation, including a tender BL side couple.

I went in expecting just a silly dating show, but Day and Son completely stole my heart! Their enemies-to-lovers arc had me giggling and kicking my feet. The chemistry is electric and I love that the BL side couple got such a meaningful story too. Perfect comfort watch with just the right amount of angst.

The premise is fascinating—a world where men are rare and used as prizes—but the execution leaves so many questions unanswered. Why are boys not being born? How does reproduction even work outside the Farm? The writers seem more interested in cute moments than world-building. It's fun in the moment, but frustrating if you think about it for more than a second.

Visually, this series is a feast. The neon-bright sets, the costume design, the playful camera tricks—especially that moment when Son catches the camera—it's all so creatively done. Every frame looks like a candy-colored dystopian dream. Even if the plot has flaws, I could rewatch just for the production value.

I came for the main couple but stayed for Chanel and Max! Their unexpected romance is so beautifully developed—she's fierce, he's sweet, and their growth feels earned. And the BL couple between Pepper and Chun? Absolutely precious. I love how this show gives every couple a satisfying arc without sidelining anyone. More shows need to take notes.

I appreciate how the series uses its dystopian setting to critique power dynamics and gendered exploitation. The les6bian couple getting an ultrasound scene is a lovely touch of representation. However, the show sometimes glosses over the darker implications—like the forced breeding subtext with Paper. It's a fun watch, but I wish it had dug deeper into its own themes.
