In the bustling heart of Seoul, Seok Min is a rookie office worker so consumed by his demanding job that even his beloved houseplants are neglected. Desperate to give them a second chance, he posts an adoption notice online, never expecting that his plants—and his heart—will find a new home with Jae Ho, a gentle and curious new tenant moving into the same building. As Jae Ho embarks on his very first gardening journey, the two men begin exchanging messages about soil, sunlight, and watering schedules, slowly nurturing a tender connection that blossoms from digital friendship into something far more fragile and beautiful. This short but soulful Korean BL series captures the quiet magic of finding love in the most unexpected places—through shared care for living things and the courage to let someone new into your life. With only two episodes, *Raise Me?* is a heartwarming, slow-burn romance that proves even the smallest acts of kindness can grow into something profound.

I’m absolutely in love with Seok Min and Jae Ho! Their journey from online strangers to plant-loving soulmates gave me all the butterflies. The way they cared for each other through caring for plants felt so pure and intimate. Two episodes wasn’t enough, but every second was perfect.

It’s sweet but honestly too short to develop any real conflict or character depth. The online friendship moved to romance way too fast without much struggle, and the plant metaphor felt a little heavy-handed. If you want a quick fluff fix, it’s fine, but don’t expect a complex narrative.

Visually, this drama is a warm hug. The soft lighting, cozy indoor scenes, and close-ups of dewy leaves and tiny sprouts made every frame feel like a painting. The color grading shifts from cool office blues to warm earthy greens as their relationship grows—such beautiful storytelling through visuals.

I appreciate that the relationship develops through mutual care and respect—no power imbalance or dubious consent here. Both leads are shown as equals navigating their own vulnerabilities. Still, I wish the show had addressed the workaholic burnout aspect more directly instead of just romanticizing it.

The background music is delicate and fits the mood perfectly—acoustic guitar and soft piano during the heart-to-heart texts, and a gentle swell when they finally meet. There’s a short original song at the end credits that I’ve been replaying all week. More OST releases, please!
