A year into their relationship, Judah and Rocky face the biggest challenge yet: the real world. With quarantine restrictions easing, they can no longer hide in their little bubble. Rocky's ex-girlfriend Che re-enters the picture, causing old insecurities to flare, while Judah struggles with feeling left out of Rocky's life. Their friend group, including the ever-opinionated Beshie and the confused Kulas, adds a chaotic mix of humor and drama. As they navigate family expectations, personal growth, and the lingering effects of the pandemic, Judah and Rocky must decide if their love can survive beyond lockdown. This season digs deeper into communication breakdowns, toxic patterns, and the messy reality of young love—without the safety of isolation.

I loved Season 1, but this felt like a retread with worse pacing. The communication issues between Judah and Rocky are repetitive, and the ex-girlfriend plot is a tired cliché. The side love triangle with Kulas makes no sense and goes nowhere. The actors try their best, but the script doesn't give them a chance.

I appreciate the vaccination PSA and the attempt to discuss internalized homophobia, but the execution is preachy and shallow. Rocky's refusal to bottom because it 'makes him less of a man' is never challenged or developed, which sends a damaging message. The emotional manipulation in the Kulas-Beshie-Che triangle is also uncomfortable. This show needed a better understanding of consent and growth.

The OST is the highlight of this season. The songs perfectly capture the melancholic, post-lockdown vibe. But even good music can't save the clunky dialogue and confusing story structure. I found myself skipping through episodes just to hear the background scores. The winter scene with the soft instrumental was beautiful, but it's not enough to recommend the whole show.

I waited so long for this season because Judah and Rocky had such sweet chemistry in Season 1. But here, they barely interact romantically. No hugging, no kisses, no warmth. It's all arguing and awkward silences. The ending is so cold that I actually felt worse after finishing. If you're a romance fan, skip this—it ruined my memory of the first season.

I was actually more interested in Kulas, Beshie, and Che's messy dynamic, but the show didn't commit to a polyamory storyline. It just left everyone confused and unresolved. Kulas leading both on without real communication was frustrating to watch. The main couple got sidelined, and the side couple got a half-baked ending. What a waste of potential.
