I went in hoping for a gripping ghost story, but the ghost is barely there and the plot drags with endless side-character flashbacks. The ML is sweet, but Anne and Krissada's chemistry is wasted on nonstop interruptions and a fake cheek kiss. By episode 7 I was fast-forwarding through 90% of the runtime. This could have been a decent 6-episode series, not 13.

I absolutely adored the main couple! Pink is fiery and strong, and the ML is so gentle and honest—finally a lakorn where the love interest isn't toxic. The way he shows her everything in episode one won me over. Sure, the ghost stuff is mild, but the suspense of 'who killed the original owner' kept me hooked. And that subplot with the ML's gay brother broke my heart. A hidden gem if you love emotional romance with a backdrop of mystery.

Visually, this drama is a treat. The qi pao dresses are richly detailed, and the Hong Kong setting (even if corny) gives a lush, old-world feel. The lighting in the ghost scenes is soft and dreamlike, which fits the gentle spirit. However, the constant flashbacks and messy editing hurt the overall flow. Still, it's a feast for the eyes if you can tolerate the pacing.

I appreciated that the ML is upfront about his past and never deceives Pink—a refreshing take on consent. But the portrayal of the dead gay brother's story, while poignant, felt like tragedy for tragedy's sake without much resolution. The female characters are mostly victims or jealous rivals, which is disappointing. A mixed bag for social themes, but the mystery is decent.

Honestly, the gay subplot—the ML's deceased brother and his lover—had me more invested than the main romance. It's tragic, forbidden, and handled with surprising sensitivity for a 2012 Thai lakorn. The main couple is fine, but I wish we'd gotten a full drama about that side story. Still, for its time, this drama dared to show queer love, even if it ends in sadness.
