In this charming Thai BL miniseries, two university students couldn't be more different: one is a driven dreamer aspiring to emulate Steve Jobs, while the other is a carefree gaming addict stuck in a rut. Their worlds collide when a mysterious supernatural event sends them hurtling back in time—into their own childhood bodies. Stranded in their younger selves, they must navigate a second chance at life, rekindling a friendship that blossoms into something deeper. As they grapple with the quirks of being kids again while retaining adult memories, they uncover the emotional core of their connection. 'Puppy Love' is a sweet, whimsical tale of second chances, self-discovery, and the innocence of first love, all wrapped in a time-travel twist that keeps viewers guessing. With just six episodes, it's a bite-sized treat for fans of lighthearted supernatural romance and childhood friends-to-lovers dynamics.

I absolutely adored this! The childhood friends-to-lovers angle is my weakness, and seeing them relive their youth together melted my heart. The time travel twist was so fun, and the leads had such sweet chemistry. Only wish it were longer so I could see more of their adult relationship!

The premise is cute but the execution fell flat. The time travel rules are inconsistent, and the conflict is resolved too easily. With only six episodes, character development suffers—both leads feel like stereotypes rather than real people. A fun distraction, but not a standout BL.

I was surprised by the visual quality for a low-budget web series. The color palette is warm and nostalgic, matching the childhood theme perfectly. Some shots of them playing in the rain and the soft lighting during confession scenes were gorgeous. Definitely a treat for the eyes even if the story is simple.

The show handles the regression to childhood in a surprisingly thoughtful way—there's no weird power dynamic because both retain adult consciousness. I appreciated that the romance develops through genuine conversation and shared memories, not manipulation. Could have explored the ethics of being adults in kids' bodies more, but for a fluffy short series, it's decent.
