Welcome to a quaint tourist town where the air smells of sea salt and fresh-baked bread—but don’t let the cozy vibes fool you. *Punk Spy* is a high-octane romantic comedy that flips expectations on their head. Meet Kim, a charmingly chaotic punk rocker with a hidden past as an intelligence operative, and Pat, a meticulous café owner whose quiet demeanor masks a dangerous double life. When their secrets collide during an undercover mission gone sideways, the result is a thrilling blend of espionage, witty banter, and unexpected tenderness. As they navigate coded messages, rooftop chases, and simmering attraction, Kim and Pat must decide if trust is worth the risk. With a killer soundtrack, explosive twists, and a heart that beats beneath the leather jackets, this series proves that love can be the most dangerous mission of all.

I came for the spy stuff and was not disappointed. The rooftop chase in episode 3 had me on the edge of my seat, and the fight choreography is refreshingly raw—no flashy nonsense. The romance is a nice bonus, but honestly, I’d watch Kim and Pat trade takedowns all day.

Kim and Pat have my whole heart. The way they slowly let their walls down while sharing stolen kisses between missions is everything I wanted. The 'open mic night' scene where Kim sings for Pat? I sobbed. Pure serotonin.

Entertaining, but the spy logic is paper-thin. Why does no one ever check the back of that café? And the main villain’s plan makes zero sense. That said, the character banter and emotional beats are strong enough to keep me watching. Pacing drags in the middle episodes.

I appreciate that the show handles hidden identities without romanticizing deception too heavily. Both leads explicitly discuss trust and boundaries before getting physical—refreshing for the genre. My only wish is that the side character's trauma was given more screen time instead of being brushed aside.
