In this cheeky Pinoy queer comedy, a hopeless romantic navigates the chaotic world of dating with one simple filter: 'Pogi lang hanap!' (Just looking for a handsome guy!). When a series of hilariously mismatched dates leads him to cross paths with a shy, earnest guy who isn't conventionally 'pogi' at all, he must decide whether to stick to his superficial checklist or open his heart to something real. Brimming with lighthearted banter, awkward meet-cutes, and a surprising amount of heart, this 6-episode miniseries serves up a refreshing dose of Filipino LGBTQ+ representation. Despite its rough-around-the-edges production, the story’s genuine warmth and comedic timing make it an easy, feel-good watch for anyone who’s ever laughed at the absurdity of modern romance.

I wanted to like this, but the acting is stiff, the audio is horrible, and the comedy relies on recycled tropes. It feels like a student project that somehow got uploaded. The only saving grace is the short runtime – at least it’s over quickly.

Sure, the budget is almost nonexistent, but I laughed out loud several times. It’s so relatable to anyone who’s tried dating apps in Manila. The lead actor has genuine charm, and I loved the simple message about not judging by looks. A sweet little gem if you keep your expectations grounded.

The cinematography is rough – shaky cam, flat lighting, and distracting background noise. I couldn't get past the technical flaws to enjoy the story. It desperately needed a proper color grade and better sound mixing.

As a queer Filipino, I'm glad this exists – we need more local content that doesn't treat gay romance as a tragedy. But the execution is lacking; the jokes sometimes punch down, and the 'ugly duckling' trope feels tired. Half-decent for representation, but not a great drama.
