Khonprot has spent years nursing a secret crush on Pluem, the infamously cold and womanizing senior head hazer of the engineering faculty. From their high school days to the present university hazing season, Khonprot has watched Pluem cycle through girlfriends while keeping his own feelings hidden. When Pluem suffers a very public breakup, Khonprot is thrust into the role of sympathetic listener—but can a tsundere playboy ever see the quiet, loyal junior as more than just a comforting presence? Set against the backdrop of SOTUS-style hazing rituals and late-night bar hangouts, this old-school Thai BL leans into classic tropes (sick mother, one-sided pining, and the 'gay-for-you' realization) with a nostalgic, low-budget charm. While the love story is a slow burn plagued by misunderstandings, the series also carves out unexpected space for a sweet GL side couple and a heartfelt message about rural education.

I really tried to give this a fair chance, but the plot holes are unforgivable. The seven-year timeline doesn't add up, characters act inconsistently, and the subtitles make it impossible to know what's happening. I couldn't buy into any of the relationships because the writing simply doesn't support them. Pass.

The show tries to pass off Pluem's terrible behavior—stalking his ex, manhandling his juniors, slapping people for laughs—as romantic once he 'changes' for Khonprot. The gay-for-you line actually made me audibly groan. It's irresponsible to romanticize toxic masculinity and hazing without any critique. The GL couple was the only redeeming part because they actually communicated like adults.

Honestly, I only finished this for Soi and Froi. Their story had actual development, chemistry, and that one spicy scene felt earned. The main BL couple? Zero chemistry, boring misunderstandings, and Khonprot's constant apologizing drove me nuts. But I'm giving it a 6 because the GL subplot was genuinely sweet and the rural school message in episode 8 surprised me.

I came for Kimmon and I got Kimmon—he really does carry the entire show with his nuanced portrayal of Pluem's internal conflict. But even he can't fix the messy script, the lack of romantic scenes, and the wooden acting of his co-star. I wanted to ship them so badly, but there's just no spark. Only for die-hard Kimmon fans.

The production design actually isn't bad—the bar set, the university corridors, and the lighting in certain scenes look decent for a low-budget BL. But the directing is flat, the pacing draaaaaags, and the camera work never elevates the emotion. A competent director could have turned this into a charming throwback. As it is, it's visually okay but narratively a mess.
