In this enchanting 8-minute short from South Korea's celebrated Strongberry studio, a shy young barista finds himself utterly captivated by a regular customer—a glasses-wearing book lover with a hoodie strap tied in a ribbon, long legs, and a mysterious scar on his arm. Every day, he admires his 'Mr. Right' from behind the counter, pouring his heart out to an anonymous online friend about his ever-growing crush. Little does he know, the very person he's been chatting with online shares a secret identity that will flip his world upside down. Packed with tender glances, a daring cigarette moment, and a confession that will leave you grinning, 'Please Tell Me So' is a masterclass in saying so much with so little time. It's a fluffy, heartwarming reminder that love often finds us when we least expect it—and sometimes, it's been typing right beside us all along.

This little short made my heart flutter so much! The barista's shy glances and that online twist were everything. I'm obsessed with how sweet they are together—Strongberry never misses. I just need, like, 10 more episodes immediately!

It's cute but way too short to develop anything substantial. The 'cigarette kiss' felt weird and forced—why would a random customer do that? The awkward small talk didn't help. Solid acting, but the rush to wrap things up left me unsatisfied.

Visually, this is stunning for an 8-minute short. The warm café lighting, the soft focus on the barista's longing looks, and the clean editing of the phone conversations—every frame feels purposeful. Strongberry knows how to make every second count.

The piano pieces during the montages were gorgeous and really amplified the crush vibes. However, the outro song felt a bit jarring—too old-fashioned for such a modern story. Overall, the music choice was 70% perfect, but that ending track lost me.

I appreciated how the story handled the secret online connection—the barista's nervousness about confessing felt authentic, and the eventual reveal was sweet. But the cigarette sharing raises questions about consent and boundaries, especially given the power dynamic of a customer/barista. Still, a charming portrayal of queer yearning.
