Nile, a cash-strapped intern at a small record label, thinks he’s hit the jackpot when he buys a stunning house at a steal from Krit, the charismatic but icy CEO of Rabbit Hole Records. But Nile’s dream home quickly turns into a nightmare when he discovers it’s haunted by a mischievous ghost with a penchant for rearranging his furniture and scaring off potential roommates. Desperate, Nile tries to return the property, but Krit refuses, leading to a reluctant and hilarious cohabitation as the two must work together to uncover the secrets of the house—and the growing chemistry between them. Based on a hit web novel, this series blends jump-scares with heart-fluttering romance, office politics with paranormal mysteries, and two men who start as adversaries but may just end up as soulmates.

Boun and Prem have done it again! From the first ghost sighting to that slow-motion hand touch in the hallway, I was fully invested. Krit’s CEO smirk and Nile’s flustered reactions are everything. The comedy is gold, and the romance is pure fluff. If you loved them in UWMA, you’ll swoon here.

I wanted to love it, but the pacing drags in the middle episodes—too many filler scenes of Nile tripping over furniture. The ghost rules are inconsistent, and Krit’s backstory feels rushed. That said, the leads commit fully, and the final confession scene is well-earned. Decent but not groundbreaking.

Visually, this series is a treat. The haunted house uses moody lighting and clever camera tricks (that mirror reflection scene gave me chills in the best way). Color grading shifts from warm during romantic beats to cool, eerie tones for ghost moments. The OST perfectly captures the playful yet tender vibe.

As a fan of the original web novel, I was happy they kept the core relationship dynamics and the ghost’s personality. But they cut out some of my favorite side characters (RIP Auntie’s cat subplot) and toned down the CEO’s initial harshness. Still, the adaptation captures the spirit – literally – and BounPrem deliver the emotional beats.

I appreciate that despite the ‘enemies’ setup, the show is careful about power dynamics. Krit never abuses his CEO status over Nile's internship, and every step in their relationship is clearly mutual. There’s a great scene where Nile explicitly communicates his boundaries. It’s a refreshingly respectful rom-com within a BL landscape that sometimes forgets consent.
