Two years after Tony’s dramatic downfall, Babe and Charlie are trying to build a future together—but the past refuses to stay buried. A hidden world of superhuman abilities is surfacing, and Charlie is determined to expose those who exploit them, even as his relationship with Babe is tested by jealousy, ambition, and a mysterious new racer named Willy. Meanwhile, Alan’s desperate struggle with a career-ending injury leads him down a dark path, and Tony’s ominous return threatens everything the X-Hunter family has fought for. With blistering car races, superpowered intrigue, and a sprawling ensemble of couples navigating love and danger, Season 2 cranks up the heat and the stakes. It’s a chaotic, emotional ride of found family, broken trust, and fiery passion that proves some bonds—and some villains—refuse to fade.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with Babe and Charlie this season. Their chemistry is off the charts—every look, every touch feels so raw and real. The emotional rollercoaster they put me through had me crying and screaming at my screen. Yes, the plot gets messy, but I live for the passion and the way they fight for each other. Mama and Papa forever!

The production value and acting are solid, but the writing is a mess. Alan's entire arc feels like a betrayal of his Season 1 character, and the amnesia trope is beyond lazy. Too many couples crammed into 13 episodes with zero development for most of them. I wanted to love it, but the nonsensical plot and rushed ending left me frustrated.

Visually, this season is a feast. The racing sequences are shot with such kinetic energy—the camera work during the container race was absolutely thrilling. The lighting in the intimate scenes is gorgeous, and the color grading gives everything a sleek, moody vibe. Even when the story stumbles, I can't look away from how beautiful everything looks.

I came for the main couple but stayed for Alan and Jeff. Their angsty, miscommunication-heavy arc broke my heart, and Pon’s acting during Jeff’s hallucinations is incredible. But I’m still so angry about the bathtub scene being cut—the disrespect to SailubPon and the fans is real. Kim and Kenta deserved so much more screentime too. Give me a spin-off, please!

I struggle with how this season handles power dynamics and consent. There are multiple scenes where characters are kissed or touched without clear consent, and the narrative often frames them as romantic. The 'noble idiot' trope where characters lie 'to protect' each other is toxic, and the constant miscommunication undermines any healthy relationship modeling. Great acting wasted on problematic scripts.
