Milk, a young graphic designer nursing a broken heart after a messy breakup, stumbles into an unexpected second chance at love when a minor injury leads him to Dr. Pun, a handsome yet emotionally guarded physical therapist. What begins as a professional patient-doctor relationship soon blurs into something deeper as Pun goes above and beyond to care for Milk—visiting his home, meeting his chaotic but loving family, and slowly chipping away at his own mysterious past. But their path to happiness is littered with confusing detours: a sudden five-year time jump, a child who appears out of nowhere, unresolved family drama, and a fiancée who vanishes as quickly as she arrived. While the series promises a tender healing romance, it delivers a disjointed narrative that often leaves viewers more puzzled than swooning. Despite its promising premise and a few genuinely sweet moments, Physical Therapy struggles to find its footing, making it a curious watch for die-hard BL fans who appreciate the genre's potential for emotional depth.

I can't believe I wasted 12 hours on this. The plot is a complete mess—random time jumps, unresolved side stories, and a child who appears out of nowhere only to be taken back. There's no logical flow, and by episode 9 I still had no idea what was going on. Even the main romance feels like an afterthought.

I wanted to love this so much because Milk and Pun had such cute moments in the first few episodes—the way he cared for him after the injury was sweet. But after episode 8 it all fell apart. The time jump and the kid plotline just killed the vibe. Still, I can't deny that Son's acting kept me going. A missed opportunity.

The lack of any physical intimacy between a couple who have been together for five years is baffling and honestly feels like internalized homophobia. Milk flinches every time Pun gets close, and they never even kiss. For a BL aimed at adults, this is a disservice to m/m representation. The writing also brushes over serious issues like a child being taken away without any emotional fallout.

I usually love discovering new OSTs through BLs, but Physical Therapy's music is almost non-existent. There are maybe three stock tracks that loop endlessly—one for 'light', one for 'serious', and one for 'ominous' that never actually leads to anything. The sound design is as lazy as the plot.

The cinematography is basic and uninspired. Lots of flat lighting and static shots, and I even spotted an 'X' taped to a bench to mark where an actor should sit. There's no visual storytelling—everything is told through clunky dialogue. The only visually interesting thing is Petch's shirtless scene, but that's more about his physique than any artistic choice.
