I'm a sucker for slow-burn enemies-to-lovers, and this delivers beautifully. Aung Khin's vulnerability and the doctor's cold exterior crumbling—chef's kiss. The horror is genuinely creepy but never overpowers the romance. Definitely a must-watch for shippers who like a little dread with their love.

The atmosphere is top-notch and the cultural details are fascinating, but the plot drags in the middle episodes. Some supernatural rules feel inconsistent, and the resolution leans too heavily on exposition. It's a decent watch if you're patient, but don't expect airtight storytelling.

Visually stunning. Every frame is drenched in mood—the misty mountains, candlelit rituals, the shadow play. The cinematography alone makes this worth watching. The color grading shifts from warm earthy tones to cold blues as the curse deepens. A feast for the eyes.

As someone who read the web novel, I appreciate how the series keeps the core mystery and emotional beats. But they cut out a lot of the side lore and condensed the tribal rituals, which made the world feel less rich. The adaptation is solid but not flawless.

I love that the show addresses power dynamics and consent even within a supernatural horror setting. The doctor's authority is questioned, and Aung Khin's agency is respected. However, the early 'forced proximity' trope could have been handled with more explicit boundaries. A good step forward for the genre.
