Papa, What Is Love? Season 2 picks up with young couple Tupe and Greg navigating the everyday challenges of living together. Greg, a busy businessman, struggles to balance his demanding job with his relationship, leaving Tupe feeling neglected and eager to start his own food business. Meanwhile, Greg’s father, Rich—still grieving his late wife—embarks on a journey to find love as a gay widower, exploring dating apps and eventually meeting the charming restaurant owner Dominic. The series beautifully depicts the realities of modern gay relationships: jealousy, miscommunication, and the courage to be vulnerable. With heartfelt performances, steamy intimacy, and a focus on healing and communication, this short but impactful sequel honors the late director Shandii Bacolod’s vision. Expect no sad endings—just authentic, mature love stories that celebrate second chances and found family.

I absolutely adored this sequel! The chemistry between Tupe and Greg is even more natural this season, and seeing them work through real-life problems made my heart swell. Plus, the pancakes and syrup scene? Unforgettable. A beautiful tribute to Shandii Bacolod.

It's a decent watch but the plot feels too neat—especially Rich's fairy-tale ending. With only 15-minute episodes, character development suffers. The acting is solid and the production value is good, but I wanted more depth.

I appreciate how this series tackles grief, jealousy, and communication without demonizing the ex-girlfriend. It shows healthy conflict resolution and avoids heteronormative roles in sex scenes. More gay stories like this, please!

The long take in episode 4 is stunning, and the lighting during the grief scene is gorgeously moody. Even the pool scene, despite loud background noise, has a dreamy quality. The uncut version's intimacy is shot without awkward angles—refreshing for BL.

I was here for Papa Rich and Dominic! Their late-in-life romance is so tender and earned. Arnold Reyes and ZK Nakaoka have such sweet chemistry. I wish we got more of their story—they deserved a spin-off!
