Anton and Davey are inseparable best friends who run a small online business together, selling goods via Facebook Live. Their easygoing bond is thrown into question when, during a spontaneous live broadcast, Davey plants a soft kiss on Anton’s cheek. The simple gesture sends ripples through both their worlds, forcing them to confront feelings they’ve long buried. With Davey about to leave for his family’s home in another city, the two friends must navigate a whirlwind of confusion, denial, and fear of labels. Set against the backdrop of pandemic restrictions, this tender short film captures the raw, awkward beauty of a friendship blooming into something more. Through heartfelt conversations and moments of quiet vulnerability, Anton and Davey learn that love doesn’t need a neat definition—it just needs to be claimed. A sweet, bite-sized exploration of self-discovery and queer romance.

I absolutely adored the chemistry between Anton and Davey. Their playful banter and nervous glances felt so real—I was smiling the whole time. Sure, the plot is simple, but for a 29-minute short, it packs a surprising emotional punch. A perfect feel-good watch for any BL fan.

As a short film, it's watchable but nothing groundbreaking. The premise is cute, but the dialogue feels stilted in places, and the side characters (especially the homophobic friend) are underdeveloped. The resolution comes too easily. Still, the lead actors have decent chemistry, and the pandemic setting is well-utilized.

I appreciate the intention, but this short film falls into the same tired tropes of 'I'm not gay, I just love you.' The internalized homophobia is played for drama rather than genuine depth, and the 'labels don't matter' speech feels like a cop-out. As a gay viewer, I wanted more authenticity and less pandering. The production quality is fine, but the script needs serious work.

The background music is pleasant but forgettable—there's no standout OST to elevate the emotional moments. For a short film about a pivotal moment in a relationship, I wish the music had been used more dynamically to underscore the tension and release. It's not bad, but it doesn't add much either.

Visually, this short is quite polished for its constraints. The use of phone screens and video calls to show distance during the pandemic feels creative and intimate. The lighting in the few in-person scenes is warm and inviting. ABS-CBN's production values shine through even on a small budget. A solid effort that shows promise for the cast.
