Absolutely adored this! Seeing Puen and Talay as domestic partners made my heart so full. Their chemistry is still magical, and Jigsaw is the cutest addition. The way they work through their issues and become a family is everything I wanted. Jimmy and Sea never disappoint. Pure comfort fluff!

I wanted to love this, but the plot device of a random kid being sent to 'fix' their relationship is too contrived. The lie is uncomfortably manipulative and undermines the otherwise realistic portrayal of couple struggles. The acting and production are fine, but the writing feels lazy. Not the worst, but definitely a missed opportunity.

Visually, this special is a treat. The warm color palette, the lighting in their house, and the continuation of the color-themed episode titles are gorgeous. The camera work during the zoo sequence and the final scenes is stunning. I love how the house incorporates elements from their parallel universe journey. JimmySea look beautiful together, and the cinematography elevates every moment.

The new OST is lovely! Jimmy and Sea's song fits the domestic vibe perfectly. I still prefer the main series soundtrack, but the background music choices are excellent. The melody during the emotional scenes really hits. It's a shame we only got two episodes to enjoy this music. Definitely worth watching for the audio experience alone.

While I appreciate the focus on work-life balance in a queer relationship, the central 'prank' of pretending a child is theirs is deeply problematic. The lying and manipulation by Puen and friends shows a lack of trust and communication. The child is used as a tool to fix adults' issues, which sends a bad message. It undermines the otherwise progressive themes. I wish they had handled it differently.
