Picking up where the original series left off, Our Skyy 2: Star in My Mind catches up with Khabkluen and Daonuea in their second year of university. When a group trip to Chiang Mai turns into a romantic getaway, the couple’s relationship deepens through open communication, playful jealousy, and heartfelt declarations of love. Directed by New Siwaj, these two episodes are a love letter to fans—packed with fluff, sweet kisses, and the kind of healthy partnership we rarely see in BL. Even the side characters get their moment in the sun: Typhoon moves on gracefully, and new friendships blossom. While the plot is deliberately low-stakes, the emotional richness and authentic chemistry make this a satisfying finale for Kluen and Dao’s journey.

I'm absolutely living for this! Kluen and Dao are the cutest couple ever—every single scene had me smiling like an idiot. The way Kluen says 'Can I kiss you?' is everything. Pure romance gold!

Honestly, nothing happens. Two episodes of 'I love you' repetition and zero plot. The healthy communication is nice, but I need a story to sink my teeth into. The side couple was more interesting.

As a consent advocate, I was thrilled to see Daonuea articulate that jealousy stems from distrust, and Khabkluen always checking in. The show normalizes emotional maturity in a genre that often romanticizes possessiveness. A quiet but important step.

Joong singing the OST live in the special episode gave me chills. The music perfectly amplifies the sweetness—especially the soft piano during their confession scenes. The OST alone is worth the watch.

The cinematography is gorgeous—warm tones, soft lighting, and those Chiang Mai landscapes are postcard-worthy. Director New knows how to frame intimate moments. Pity the script didn't match the visual quality.
