Reunite with the beloved Pat and Pran in this special episode of Our Skyy 2, which takes us back to their college days during their fake breakup. The architecture and engineering rivals are tasked with putting on a play to save a beloved local theatre—but their secret romance and signature bickering make collaboration chaotic and hilarious. When a trip to Pha Pun Dao brings them face-to-face with Chief Phupha and Tian from A Tale of Thousand Stars, the two couples find unexpected friendships, comedic misunderstandings, and a shared mission that goes beyond the stage. This episode captures the playful, competitive energy that made Bad Buddy a fan favorite while weaving in a heartwarming crossover that expands their world. With the same sharp dialogue, nostalgic callbacks, and the chemistry that defined the original series, it’s a love letter to fans who wanted just a little more time with Pat and Pran.

I can't believe how happy this episode made me! Pat and Pran are back with their perfect blend of teasing and loving stares. The bickering is so them, and I loved every callback to the original series. The crossover with Phupha and Tian was a delightful bonus—I squealed when they met. Ohm and Nanon still have incredible chemistry, don't believe the rumors. A must-watch for any Bad Buddy fan!

I went in with high hopes but found this episode underwhelming. The timeline is confusing—set during their fake breakup but the characters act like they're openly together. The crossover feels forced, taking screen time away from Pat and Pran. The chemistry between Ohm and Nanon seemed slightly off, maybe due to off-screen issues. It's cute, but it doesn't capture the magic of the original. I'd rather have had two full episodes just for them.

Visually, this episode is a treat. The color grading perfectly matches the original Bad Buddy, and the way they recreated the elevator scene and the curtain drop gave me chills. The transition to the rural village of Pha Pun Dao was beautifully shot, with warm tones contrasting the urban university. Director P'Aof knows how to frame emotions. Some might find the story slight, but the cinematography elevates every moment.

I appreciate that this episode continues to show a long-term gay relationship navigating societal pressure, but the 'fake breakup' premise feels outdated and confusing. The friends' inconsistent awareness of the secret creates plot holes. On the positive side, the lesbian side couple Ink and Pa get sweet moments, and the episode avoids toxic tropes. It's harmless fluff, but I wish the writing had been tighter regarding consent and communication.

As a huge fan of A Tale of Thousand Stars, I was over the moon to see Phupha and Tian again! Their storyline is angsty but realistic—Phupha's stubbornness and Tian's frustration felt true to their characters. The crossover with Pat and Pran created hilarious moments like the 'morning after' panic. Earth and Mix still have sizzling chemistry even when fighting. I wish the episode had more focus on PhuTian, but what we got was pure gold.
