Our Skyy 2 is a spectacular 16-episode anthology series that serves as a love letter to eight beloved GMMTV BL couples, bringing them back to the screen for new adventures. Each pair gets two episodes to explore their relationships beyond where their original series left off, offering fans everything from domestic bliss to playful role reversals and unexpected crossovers. From the time-traveling historical escapades of Palm and Nuengdiao (Never Let Me Go) to the heartfelt reunion of Tian and Phupha (A Tale of Thousand Stars) as they navigate city life and a surprise proposal, the series is a rollercoaster of emotions. Other highlights include Khabkluen and Daonuea (Star in My Mind) enjoying pure honeymoon-phase fluff, Akk and Aye (The Eclipse) working through relationship growing pains with indie filmmaking, and Pat and Pran (Bad Buddy) secretly dating while orchestrating a massive camp trip. The anthology also features the hilarious boss-intern role swap of Gun and Cher (A Boss and a Babe), the adorable family dynamic of Puen and Talay (Vice Versa) with a mischievous child, and a multiverse reimagining of My School President where Tinn and Gun swap roles. While the quality varies across segments, the series delivers exactly what fans crave: more time with beloved characters, new OSTs, and plenty of kisses. Whether you're here for the fluff, the angst, or the sheer joy of seeing your favorite ships again, Our Skyy 2 is a warm, nostalgic celebration of love.

I absolutely loved every second of Our Skyy 2! As someone who has watched all the original dramas, this was a dream come true. The two episodes for each couple were just enough to make me smile and cry happy tears. My favorite was A Tale of Thousand Stars – Earth and Mix's proposal scene had me sobbing, and the Bad Buddy crossover was brilliantly done. All the couples are perfect, the OSTs are amazing, and I could watch PatPran being lovey-dovey forever. PLEASE watch and give the actors love!

Honestly, this anthology is a mess of wasted potential. The writing is incredibly lazy – most segments just cash in on the actors' popularity without offering any meaningful story. Never Let Me Go's time-travel plot is cringe-worthy and full of plot holes, while My School President just rehashes the original with a lazy role swap. Even Bad Buddy x ATOTS, which had the best ending, suffered from a nonsensical setup. I wish GMMTV would invest in quality scripts instead of relying on fan service. Only The Eclipse and Vice Versa showed any real creativity.

Visually, Our Skyy 2 is a treat for the eyes. Each segment maintains the distinct color palette and lighting of its original series, making the anthology feel cohesive yet diverse. I especially loved the warm, golden tones of A Tale of Thousand Stars' mountain scenes and the desaturated historical look in Never Let Me Go. The camera work during the intimate moments – like the close-ups during Phupha's proposal – is gorgeous. However, some segments (MSP) had choppy editing and poorly mixed audio, which pulled me out. Still, a beautiful production overall.

The OSTs in Our Skyy 2 are simply phenomenal! Every couple got a new song, and they all perfectly capture the mood of their segments. 'No Matter What' by Earth and Mix is now my go-to tearjerker, and First Khaotung's 'Your World My World' is so soulful. I also loved the revamped versions of original theme songs – they brought back so many memories. The music elevates even the weaker storylines. I've had these songs on repeat for months. A must-listen for BL music fans!

While I appreciate the fluff, some segments in Our Skyy 2 raise red flags about relationship dynamics. The Eclipse's birthday surprise plot involves Ayan gaslighting Akk into feeling forgotten, which is presented as romantic but is actually emotionally manipulative – no apology is given, and Akk just forgives him. I found that disturbing. On the other hand, Star in My Mind shows healthy communication and respect for boundaries (Kluen always checks if Dao is okay). The Bad Buddy x ATOTS crossover ironically addresses relationship inequality well. Overall, a mixed bag on consent and healthy love.

I'm a huge fan of all the original couples, so I was thrilled to see them again. My favorites were Star in My Mind and Vice Versa – the domestic fluff and family vibe were exactly what I needed. JoongDunk's chemistry was off the charts, and JimmySea as parents to Jigsaw was adorable. However, I was disappointed with My School President – the role swap was cute but felt like a rushed remake. Still, the ending of A Tale of Thousand Stars made up for everything. EarthMix never fail to make me cry. Recommended for hardcore shippers only.
