I was rooting for Tin and Siu Muk from the start, and the ending made my heart soar. KK's selfless love was beautifully portrayed—he truly put Tin's happiness above his own. Yes, the show is silly, but the emotional payoff is so worth it.

The central romance felt creepy and forced to me. KK's behavior as a boss pursuing his subordinate is played for laughs, but it made me uncomfortable. The pacing drags in the middle episodes, and the main couple lacks real chemistry. Side cast was fine, but overall not my cup of tea.

I came for the story but stayed for the music! Both 'Sudden Heartbeat' and 'Unlovable Leader' are absolute bops that I still listen to daily. The songs perfectly capture the flirty, chaotic vibe of the show. Even the filler episodes felt more entertaining with the OST playing in the background.

I appreciate that this was Hong Kong's first mainstream BL, but the power dynamics between KK and Tin are troubling. KK uses his position as boss to pressure Tin into a relationship, and the show treats it as comedic. It could have been a great chance to explore coming out later in life, but that nuance got buried under slapstick.
