What if a pair of thrift-store earphones could let you hear the dead? That’s the eerie twist at the heart of *Oops! Mysterious Sounds*, a Thai BL that fuses supernatural mystery with a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance. When two rival students—one a pragmatic top scorer, the other a rebellious music lover—are forced to share a pair of second-hand earphones, they discover they can communicate with ghosts. Their worlds collide further when their beloved idol friend dies under suspicious circumstances, and the earphones may hold the key to uncovering the truth. Thrown together by a fake-dating scheme to keep up appearances, the two must navigate school politics, spectral clues, and their own growing attraction. As spirits whisper secrets and danger closes in, they learn that some bonds are written in the afterlife. Part ghost story, part heart-fluttering romance, this series promises twists, tears, and a love that defies both the living and the dead.

I absolutely melted watching the leads bicker one minute and then share these incredibly tender moments the next. The earphone thing is so unique, and the way they slowly realize they're falling for each other while solving a ghost murder? Perfection. Already rewatching my favorite scenes.

The premise is cool but the pacing drags in the middle episodes. Some ghost rules feel inconsistent, and the fake dating plot is a bit too convenient. Still, the leads have decent chemistry and the finale delivers a satisfying resolution. Good for a light binge, but don't expect airtight logic.

Visually, this show is stunning. The muted color palette for the living world contrasts beautifully with the ghostly blue-tinted flashbacks. Every scene with the earphones uses clever sound design to blur the line between real and supernatural. The director clearly has an eye for moody romance.

As someone who read the web novel first, I'm pleased they kept the core mystery and the earphone lore. A few side characters got cut, and the fake dating feels a bit more rushed here, but the spirit of the story is intact. The actors really capture the novel's banter—I just wish they had included the rooftop confession scene.

I appreciate that the show handles the fake-dating trope with clear communication—they set boundaries early and check in with each other. The ghost element also adds a layer about grieving and legacy. However, I wish the power dynamics (rivalry + forced proximity) were explored a bit more critically. Still, a solid effort.
