When Liang Yi Fan travels to Chiang Mai to scout a venue for a memorial concert honoring the legendary Teresa Teng, he never expects to find a guide—or a reason to stay. Lost and overwhelmed by the unfamiliar city, he stumbles upon Mice, a warm-hearted local musician who offers help when he needs it most. As Mice leads him through the winding streets, hidden temples, and soulful night markets of the old city, their connection deepens beyond simple tourist assistance. The bilingual barrier between them becomes a bridge instead of a wall, with shared melodies and quiet moments speaking louder than words. This tender short film captures a fleeting yet profound romance, weaving together themes of loss, cultural nostalgia, and the unexpected healing power of human touch. With stunning Chiang Mai landscapes and the haunting legacy of Teresa Teng's music as a backdrop, 'Only Love You, Mice: Director's Cut' is a bittersweet, atmospheric gem that lingers long after the credits roll.

This short film made me cry in the best way. The way they use Teresa Teng's songs to connect two lonely souls is genius. The leads had such gentle chemistry, and Chiang Mai looked like a dream. I only wish it were longer!

The visuals are nice and the leads are likeable, but honestly, nothing really happens. It's a 30-minute meet-cute stretched into a film. The emotional payoff felt rushed because there's no time to develop conflict or backstory.

As a cinematography lover, I was blown away. The golden-hour shots at the temple, the neon reflections on wet streets—every frame could be a painting. The director clearly loves Chiang Mai. A visual feast even if the plot is slight.

I appreciate how gently the romance unfolds—no rushing, no pressure. Both men are shown asking for consent in small ways: a pause before holding hands, a check-in before a kiss. It's refreshing to see a BL that values emotional safety.

The soundtrack is everything. Using Teresa Teng's 'The Moon Represents My Heart' as a motif was perfect—it tied the cultural heritage to the romance. I rewatched it just for the music. Short but incredibly powerful.
