When Moo, a charismatic and relentlessly optimistic high school senior with dreams of becoming an idol, is sent to a rural town as punishment for skipping class, he never expects to find the love of his life. His new school's cafeteria is run by Kang, a quiet, stoic young man who spends his days selling homemade curry-rice and sketching in his art book. Moo is instantly smitten and begins a whirlwind campaign of flirtation, from serenading Kang over the school PA system to writing him original songs. What Moo doesn't know is that Kang secretly returns his feelings, hiding his emotions behind a composed facade. As Moo juggles grueling idol training and his relentless pursuit of Kang, the two navigate a tender, slow-burn romance that challenges them both. More than a love story, *Only Boo!* is a sweet celebration of chasing your dreams without losing yourself, featuring two of the most emotionally mature and green-flag leads in BL. With a supporting cast of loyal friends and a lighthearted tone, this series proves that the best love stories are often the simplest—and the most honest.

I am absolutely obsessed with Moo and Kang! They are the definition of a green-flag couple – they actually talk things out and support each other! The way Moo wrote that song for Kang over the school speakers made me scream. Every single episode left me smiling like an idiot. This is the comfort BL I never knew I needed.

I wanted to love this more, but the pacing in the last few episodes really dragged. The 'no dating' conflict felt forced and Moo's constant crying got repetitive. The side couple's resolution was also rushed. Still, the first half is genuinely charming, and Keen's performance carries the whole show. Not a masterpiece, but a pleasant watch.

The OST is the secret star of this series. Moo's theme song 'Kae Thi Kaeng' has been on repeat for weeks – it's so sweet and perfectly captures his feelings. The dance scenes are well-choreographed, and Keen's live vocals sound great even if they differ slightly from the studio version. The music elevates every emotional beat.

I was pleasantly surprised by how this series handles communication and boundaries. Kang consistently respects Moo's autonomy even when Moo pushes too hard early on. The show also briefly but responsibly touches on idol contracts restricting dating and the pressures of public attention. It's not perfect – the comedic sound effects sometimes undermine serious moments – but overall it's a responsible, heartwarming portrayal of young love.

Visually, this show has a warm, cozy color palette that matches its fluffy tone. The rural school setting is beautifully shot, and the nighttime motorcycle rides feel like pages from a romance novel. I wish the cinematography had been more adventurous during the idol performance sequences – those felt a bit flat compared to the intimate scenes. Still, the visual storytelling is effective and charming.
