'One Year' is a poignant Thai miniseries that explores the fragile nature of memory and love. Set in a sun-drenched coastal town, the story follows Sor, a young man grappling with a mysterious condition that causes his memories to fade each day. Enter Khao, a steadfast and compassionate soul who vows to be his anchor, recording their shared moments in hopes of preserving a love that slips away with every sunrise. As they navigate a web of family secrets, dubious medical ethics, and a brother with hidden agendas, the series poses a haunting question: can love survive when one partner can't remember yesterday? With its dreamy visuals and a meditative pace, 'One Year' is a slow-burn romance that leans heavily on emotional atmosphere rather than plot mechanics. It's a melancholic yet tender journey about holding on, letting go, and the quiet courage of waking up each day to fall in love all over again.

This was genuinely a waste of time. The storyline was all over the place and made very little sense, the acting was weak, and most of the characters were more irritating than engaging. The excessive filters were distracting, the second couple added nothing interesting to the story, and the pacing was painfully slow. Every episode felt longer than it actually was, yet somehow the plot barely moved forward. I kept waiting for things to improve, but they never did. By the end, I wasn't frustrated with the drama as much as I was with myself for actually finishing it. Definitely one of the most disappointing watches I've sat through.

I'll give it this: some scenes are beautifully shot, with that hazy, nostalgic look. But the heavy filters can't hide the messy script. The 'happy ending' felt tacked on, the acting is often stiff, and the GL side couple? Pointless. It's like they ran out of money and cut ten episodes down to eight. Not the worst BL of the month, but still far from good.

I appreciate the beachy setting and some genuinely sweet moments between the leads. However, the 'family' is utterly toxic—gaslighting, manipulation, and zero consequences. The series attempts to tackle memory loss and consent but fumbles by having the second male lead swear to be his memories and then fail when it mattered most. Also, an open ending and an unethical doctor? This needed a stronger ethical backbone. Watch with trigger warnings in mind.

I came for a love story and got a headache. The romance is supposed to be the core, but the leads have zero chemistry—acting like five-year-olds. How can Sor not remember anything the next day yet behave normally? The psychiatrist looks 16 and acts like the brother's puppet. I wanted to root for them, but the script made it impossible. Never again.
