Every year on his birthday, Riw returns to the same lakeside campsite, retracing the steps of the stranger who pulled him from the water three years ago. He's never found that person—until this year, when he unexpectedly runs into an old school acquaintance. What begins as a simple camping trip quickly turns into a journey of reconnection, as old feelings resurface and buried secrets start to surface. With the help of some nosy but sweet friends, Riw must decide if the universe is giving him a second chance at love, or if the truth behind that fateful day is more complicated than he ever imagined. Beautifully shot and packed with tender moments, this Thai short film captures the quiet magic of fate, timing, and the courage it takes to wish again.

I'm a sucker for fate-meetings and camping vibes, and this short film delivered exactly the warm, fuzzy feeling I needed. The leads have such soft chemistry—especially that second kiss under the stars. The music really pulled at my heartstrings too.

It's sweet but the three-year mystery made no sense. Why wait that long to reveal your identity when you clearly had feelings? The diary reading and secret photos felt more creepy than romantic. Still, the acting was decent and the ending was satisfying enough.

The color grading is gorgeous—all those warm golden tones against the deep blue lake. Every shot feels intentional, like a Pinterest board come to life. The director clearly knows how to use nature to enhance emotion. Even the simple tent scenes look cinematic.

I wanted to like this more, but the non-consensual kiss (eyes closed, no warning) was a huge red flag. And then they framed reading someone's diary and secretly taking photos for three years as romantic gestures? That's not love, that's boundary-crossing. A pity, because the setting and the lead actor's sincerity are lovely.

The soundtrack is the real star of this short film. That soft acoustic guitar melody that plays during the reveal scene? I've had it on repeat. The music perfectly matches the wistful, hopeful tone. I wish the plot had been a bit tighter, but the audio experience made up for it.
