In this exquisite three-minute epilogue that fans have been craving, we return to the quiet domestic bliss of Nozue and Togawa. The morning sun filters through their apartment as Nozue lovingly bakes an apple pie for his younger partner, Togawa. What follows is a masterclass in intimate storytelling: gentle teasing about the night before, playful banter, and a deeply moving conversation about 'firsts' in their relationship. Togawa's cheeks flush with warmth as he watches Nozue in the kitchen, his eyes saying everything words cannot. The scene builds to a breathtakingly simple yet profound request—a marriage proposal that resonates with hope and love. This short film, directed with exquisite sensitivity, captures the settled, profound love of a couple who have found their home in each other. It's the perfect, emotionally resonant cherry on top of one of Japan's most beloved BL series.

I am literally sobbing. This three minutes of pure domestic bliss is everything I ever wanted. Nozue baking an apple pie while Togawa watches with those love-struck eyes—I can't. And then the 'marry me' at the end? My heart exploded. This is how you do a BL epilogue. Perfect, tender, and absolutely swoon-worthy.

Let's be honest: this is a glorified fan service clip. The acting is great, and the chemistry is undeniable, but three minutes is far too short to develop anything meaningful. I also wish Japanese BL would allow more physical affection when the couple is alone—it felt oddly restrained. Still, a nice treat for fans of the series.

The cinematography in this short film is breathtaking. The warm morning light streaming through the kitchen window, the shadows playing across Togawa's face as he leans against the wall absorbing Nozue's every word—it's cinema. Every frame is carefully composed, making the mundane act of baking feel utterly romantic. A visual treat for anyone who appreciates beautiful directing.

As a longtime fan of the original manga, I was nervous about the epilogue. But I'm so relieved—they captured the exact tone of the source material: understated yet deeply affectionate. Nozue's apple pie-making is a perfect callback to the manga's food themes. I just wish it was longer; the proposal scene feels rushed, but the actors' microexpressions perfectly convey the emotions the manga panels did.

In a country where same-sex marriage is not yet legal, this epilogue's marriage proposal is radical and deeply moving. It shows queer love as ordinary, domestic, and worthy of commitment. Nozue and Togawa's relationship is built on mutual respect, consent, and open communication—the way they tease each other while clearly checking in emotionally is a masterclass in healthy romance. More BL dramas should take notes.
