Set against the surreal backdrop of a COVID-19 pandemic spiraling into a zombie outbreak, 'Oh My Sexual' follows six stylish, charismatic millennials trapped in a house together. What begins as a documentary-style exploration of their relationships, anxieties, and sexualities quickly unravels into a chaotic blend of dark comedy, Shakespearean monologues, and genre-bending meta-narratives. The series attempts to tackle serious themes—oppression, identity, and the absurdity of modern life—through exaggerated performances and experimental editing. While the cast delivers committed performances, the show's ambition often outruns its coherence, resulting in a messy, thought-provoking, and deeply polarizing viewing experience that dares to ask: what happens when you mix a global health crisis, queer romance, and zombies?

I went in expecting a dark comedy but got a confusing mess. The Shakespeare quotes and zombie elements felt pasted on, never integrating into any coherent story. The pacing was all over the place, and the characters never felt real. I appreciate the attempt to do something different, but execution is everything.

Visually, this is a strange beast. Some of the split-screen and documentary-style shots are genuinely creative, but the grainy camerawork and distracting sound design pull you out. A few scenes are framed beautifully—like the candlelit confession—but overall it feels like a student film with big ideas and no budget.

I wanted to like this for its queer representation and pandemic commentary, but the messaging is muddled. The show tries to tackle oppression but ends up romanticizing toxic behaviors under the guise of 'dark humor.' Consent dynamics are never clearly addressed, and the constant anxiety just feels exploitative rather than illuminating.

The soundtrack is a mixed bag. 'Ayoko Na Sayo' is catchy but doesn't fit the tone at all, and the background score often clashes with the onscreen mood. There are a few moments where music almost elevates the scene, but mostly it adds to the chaos. Not a series I'd revisit for the audio alone.

I came for BL romance and got… whatever this was. There's hardly any chemistry between the leads, and the relationships feel rushed and unearned. The zombie subplot totally overshadows the love stories, and I never felt invested in any pairing. If you want actual romance, skip this.
