Meet Mando, a sweet but painfully shy college student who hides his true self behind a carefully constructed heteronormative relationship with the vibrant Krisha. His world turns upside down when Barry, an openly bisexual and irresistibly charming basketball star, enters his life. The catch? Barry is Krisha’s protective older brother. As Mando and Barry’s undeniable chemistry explodes into a secret affair, they must navigate the wreckage of deception, self-discovery, and family loyalty. With magical dream sequences that mirror Mando’s internal struggle as a gay Rapunzel trapped in a tower of denial, this Filipino romantic comedy blends laugh-out-loud humor with raw, emotional depth. Featuring stellar performances from Kokoy de Santos and Alex Diaz, *Oh, Mando!* tackles coming out, mental health, and trans representation with surprising maturity—all while keeping you swooning over its gorgeous leads. A hidden gem that proves Pinoy BL can be both heart-fluttering and heart-wrenching.

I am absolutely obsessed with Mando and Barry! Their chemistry is off the charts—every look, every touch made my heart flutter. Yes, the cheating storyline is messy, but the way they fought for each other and that beautiful bridge scene at the end? I was sobbing happy tears. Kokoy and Alex are a dream team!

I wanted to love this but the plot is a mess. The way Barry and Mando cheat on Krisha without any real guilt until the very end made me lose all sympathy for them. Krisha deserved so much better. The dream sequences felt repetitive and dragged down the pacing. Great acting can't fix a fundamentally flawed narrative.

I appreciate how this show tackles internalized homophobia, bisexuality, and trans representation—especially Professor Siwa's storyline. However, I'm troubled by the normalisation of the affair and the lack of accountability until the finale. The suicide attempt felt handled respectfully, but the series could have done more to show genuine remorse rather than a quick fix.

The music in *Oh, Mando!* elevates every emotional beat. 'Aray' and 'Mabagal' are now on my daily playlist. The score during the bridge scene and the dream sequences perfectly captures Mando's yearning and fear. A huge shoutout to the sound team for making me cry with just a piano note. The OST alone is worth the subscription.
