Not...You is a hauntingly intimate Thai miniseries that explores the fragile line between memory and desire. The story follows Pim, a young man still bound by a solemn promise to his first love, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Years later, he encounters Kim, a stranger whose presence triggers an uncanny sense of déjà vu. As they grow closer, Pim is torn between honoring his past vow and surrendering to a new, magnetic connection that feels both forbidden and inevitable. With only three episodes, this web series packs an emotional punch, weaving a quiet, atmospheric tale of grief, identity, and second chances. What makes Not...You special is its tender, almost lyrical portrayal of how love can echo across time—and how sometimes the heart knows a truth the mind refuses to accept. A slow-burn gem for fans of subtle, melancholic romance.

I'm a sucker for quiet, soulful love stories, and this one hit me right in the heart. The chemistry between the leads is so tender and real, even though they barely touch. That longing in their eyes—I lived for it. It's a shame it's only three episodes, but the ending left me satisfied and a little teary.

The premise had promise, but the execution fell flat. The pacing is glacial, and the plot relies too heavily on vague flashbacks and characters making irrational decisions. I get that it's meant to be atmospheric, but three episodes felt like a stretched-out short film. A tighter script would have helped.

Visually, this web series has a certain homemade charm—soft lighting, intimate close-ups, and a muted color palette that matches the melancholic tone. Some shots are genuinely beautiful, but the shaky camera in a few scenes reminded me of its low budget. I wish they had invested in a proper sound design; the audio levels were uneven.

I struggled with the underlying message that a past promise should override present happiness. The main character spends the entire series feeling guilty for moving on, which I found emotionally unhealthy. There's a lack of clear consent around the new relationship—Kim pushes forward without understanding Pim's trauma. For a 2019 show, I expected more nuanced handling of grief and autonomy.
