This is exactly the kind of short, sweet BL I needed. The fake relationship trope is done so well here—the awkward moments feel real and the eventual shift to genuine feelings made me smile so wide. I just wish they'd given us a tiny bit more at the end, maybe a little foreplay? Still, the chemistry grew beautifully. Highly recommend for a quick pick-me-up!

The kisses are painfully awkward, which undercuts the romance. That said, the dating show segments are surprisingly well-shot and authentic. It's enjoyable if you don't think too hard, but it's far from perfect.

The power imbalance (boss-employee turned co-stars) was addressed subtly. However, I wish there had been more explicit conversation about coming out and the pressures of performative queerness. Still, a respectful and fun watch.

The soundtrack is surprisingly catchy! The background music during their fake dates perfectly captures that fluttering, nervous energy. There's one lo-fi track that plays during their first real moment alone that I've had on repeat. The theme song is also a bop. Music really elevated the emotional beats for me.
