I'm honestly blown away by how good this is for a vertical short series. The enemies-to-lovers tension is chef's kiss, and the kisses actually feel passionate and not just for show. Wang Yu Wei and Bao Li Ning have amazing chemistry. Plus, the supportive office colleagues were such a relief! A must-watch for any BL fan.

I came in with low expectations for a 19-episode vertical drama, but the miscommunication actually made sense for once. Still, some of the dialogue was too quiet and the CEO's reaction felt a bit fantastical. The pacing is tight, but it could have used an extra episode to flesh out the side characters. Worth a watch if you're in the mood for something short and sweet.

For a vertical phone-first series, the production value surprised me. The umbrella opening transition in episode 3 was beautifully done, and the color grading gives it a warm, romantic feel. Yes, it's limited by the format, but the directors made smart creative choices. A visual treat among its peers.

I appreciate that the story tries to address homophobia and non-consensual photo sharing, but the resolution felt too neat and the CEO's treatment of the outing felt unrealistic. The leads have good chemistry, but I wish the series had spent more time on the consequences of those actions instead of rushing to a happy ending. Still, it's a step forward for Chinese BL.

The background music really elevated the emotional beats for me. The track that plays during the umbrella scene and the confession callback is gorgeous. I wish there was an official OST release. The sound mixing isn't perfect (some dialogue is too quiet), but the music more than makes up for it.
