Kei is a reclusive novelist who has never experienced romance, so when his editor demands he write a Boys' Love story, he's utterly lost. Enter Kairi, his new stepbrother—a sharp-tongued, mischievous whirlwind who moves in after their parents' marriage. At first, Kei sees Kairi as an annoying disruption, but Kairi volunteers to become his 'romance tutor,' staging absurdly cute scenarios to help Kei understand love. What begins as a clumsy, comedic experiment slowly blossoms into genuine feelings, blurring the lines between research and reality. With only 38 minutes of runtime, this Japanese web series packs surprising emotional depth, awkward charm, and a sweet message about finding connection in the most unexpected places. It's a heartfelt, low-budget gem that celebrates the messy, funny journey of self-discovery.

I'm absolutely smitten! Kei and Kairi's awkward but genuine growing closeness melted my heart. Even without a proper kiss, their forehead touches and shy smiles were more romantic than half the dramas out there. Pure fluff perfection!

It's cute but feels like an extended YouTube skit. The stepbrother premise is convenient, and the romance develops way too fast even for a short series. Subtitles were off; untranslated phone screens annoyed me. Still, it's harmless fun if you don't think too hard.

I appreciated how the show handled consent and boundary-setting in a lighthearted way. Kairi always asked before touching or pushing Kei's comfort zone. However, the 'stepbrother' dynamic felt a bit iffy without deeper exploration. Still, a decent example of respectful romantic comedy.

Visually, it's low-budget but resourceful. The pastel color grading and cozy apartment sets create an intimate vibe. The camera lingers nicely on small gestures like trembling hands. However, some shots are slightly soft-focused. For a tiny budget, it's commendable.

The background piano and soft guitar tracks perfectly capture the nervous, blossoming romance. The ending theme is catchy and stayed in my head for days. Music elevates the simple scenes into something genuinely moving.
