When rebellious high-schooler Golf's father returns from a trip with a new wife and a stepson, Bank, Golf's world is turned upside down. Resentful at first, he lashes out at the gentle, quiet Bank, but their forced proximity slowly breaks down barriers. As they navigate shared classes, school plays, and hidden glances, a fierce, unexpected bond blossoms into something deeper. But their fragile happiness is threatened by family secrets, societal judgment, and a heart-wrenching choice that will change both their lives forever. This raw and emotional film captures the painful beauty of first love, the crushing weight of duty, and the lengths we go to protect the ones we hold dear.

I went from swooning over Golf and Bank's tentative touches to sobbing uncontrollably in the second half. This is what BL is all about – pure, aching love. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts, and their journey broke me in the best way. I've rewatched it three times and I cry every single time.

I wanted to love this given all the hype, but the plot is a mess. Scenes jump around with no logic – how does Golf go from fighting his dad to suddenly being on a plane? And the 'shock' ending relies on the biggest plot hole I've ever seen. The acting is decent, but the rushed editing and shallow character development ruined any emotional impact for me.

While the film leans heavily on the 'bury your gays' trope, I appreciate how it doesn't shy away from showing the real-world homophobia these boys face – even in a supposedly tolerant Thailand. The scene where Bank asks if he's 'like a girl' and Golf's reply is quietly revolutionary. It's flawed but important, and it sparked conversations I still think about.

For a low-budget indie film, the visual storytelling is surprisingly effective. Long takes and soft lighting create an intimate, melancholic atmosphere that perfectly mirrors the characters' loneliness. The director lets silence do the heavy lifting, and that couch confession scene is beautifully framed. I just wish the editing in the second half matched the first half's coherence.

I really wanted to love the music here, but there just isn't enough of it. The few piano cues are lovely and bittersweet, but long stretches of the film feel sonically empty. A stronger, more consistent score could have elevated the already powerful performances. Still, the emotional core is strong enough to carry the story even without a memorable OST.
