I absolutely adored this film! The way Ace and Gio slowly find their way back to each other had me crying and smiling at the same time. Cesca and Ivan’s chemistry is off the charts—every look, every touch felt so real. If you love second-chance romances with a lot of heart, this is a must-watch.

I wanted to love it more, but the plot relies heavily on the classic 'misunderstanding that could be solved with a single conversation' trope. The pacing drags in the middle, and Malou's plan feels contrived. Still, the performances are solid and the emotional beats land when they need to.

Visually, this is one of the better Filipino BL films I've seen. The lighting in the bar scenes perfectly captures Ace's emotional low, and the shift to warmer tones as he heals is beautifully subtle. The director knows how to frame a close-up—every tear and smile is given space to breathe.

I appreciate that the film tackles the stigma around sex work and financial dependence without villainizing anyone. However, I wish it had addressed Ace's drinking and emotional manipulation more critically rather than romanticizing the 'grand gesture' solution. Still, it's a step forward for nuanced LGBTQ+ storytelling.

The soundtrack really elevates this movie. The main theme plays during the most emotional scenes and it gave me chills every time. The background score is understated but perfectly matches the tone—hopeful yet melancholic. I've already added a few tracks to my playlist.
