In the sun-drenched streets of Chiang Mai, Motor (Jo Ronaporn Vipataputi) invites his close friend Gentle (Fongfong Pathomporn Panfa) for a motorcycle getaway before the new school term. When Gentle's bike breaks down, he reluctantly rides pillion behind Motor—an intimate proximity that stirs unfamiliar butterflies. After a night at Motor's house, Gentle wakes to find Motor spending the day with his girlfriend Namwan, igniting a storm of jealousy he can't explain. Through fragmented flashbacks and raw, unspoken tension, the short film unravels Gentle's gradual sexual awakening and the fragile boundary between friendship and love. As Motor and Gentle navigate miscommunication, buried feelings, and a past motorcycle accident, they must decide whether their bond can survive a confession that changes everything. A poignant, low-budget indie gem from Wayufilm Production, 'My Biker' captures the aching beauty of first love on two wheels.

This little short film stole my heart. The way Gentle slowly realizes his feelings while holding onto Motor on the bike is so beautifully awkward. Yes, the timeline jumps a bit, but the chemistry between Fongfong and Jo is electric. I cried at the ending scene—pure indie magic!

I wanted to like it more, but the narrative is a mess. Motor's girlfriend situation makes no sense—why didn't he break up with her for a year after the accident? And Gentle's silent treatment felt overblown without proper buildup. The production is decent for the budget, but the writing needed another draft.

As a piece of queer representation from a small Thai indie studio, 'My Biker' hits hard. It doesn't romanticize jealousy but shows how messy first love can be, especially when you're still figuring yourself out. The director Nicchi handles Gentle's sexual awakening with sensitivity. A meaningful short despite its flaws.

Visually, this short punches above its weight class. The golden-hour motorcycle rides, the framing of the two boys in close quarters—every shot feels intentional. I also loved the sound design: the rumble of the engine mixed with the quiet heartbeat moments. Wayufilm knows how to stretch a small budget into cinema.

The background music in 'My Biker' is seriously underrated! That soft guitar theme that swells during the ride scenes perfectly captures the nervous excitement of first love. I've had the track stuck in my head for days. The soundtrack alone makes this worth watching for any BL music lover.
