What happens when your ultimate K-pop bias walks into your classroom? For Na Ae Jun, a 29-year-old high school teacher and devoted fan of the idol group A-One, this daydream becomes reality when his school becomes the set for a variety show starring his favorite idol, Choi Si Yeol. Desperate to maintain his professional cool, Ae Jun hides his fangirl heart, but Si Yeol seems oddly interested in him—flirting, seeking him out, and blurring the lines between scripted reality and something more. However, Si Yeol isn't being entirely honest: he has a hidden agenda tied to a painful past involving his best friend. As Ae Jun gets swept up in a whirlwind of sweet moments and awkward encounters, the truth threatens to shatter the fantasy. With a towering height difference, an adorable second couple, and a story that balances fluffy romance with surprising emotional depth, *My Bias Is Showing?!* is a joyful, serotonin-boosting series that asks: what if your bias became your boyfriend, but at what cost?

I absolutely lived for every second of Ae Jun and Si Yeol's awkward fluff! The height difference kills me—when he towers over him and leans down to whisper? I melted. Kevin's fanboy expressions are so real, and Kang Min's smoldering stares gave me butterflies. Yes, the plot is simple, but who cares when the chemistry is this sweet? Totally recommended for anyone who wants a happy, giddy watch.

I wanted to love this, but the writing is just too shallow. The whole revenge agenda is resolved in one episode without real consequence, and the idol’s redemption feels unearned. The second couple had way more potential but was barely explored. It’s cute, sure, but it plays it too safe—a few more episodes and deeper conflict could have made this a classic. As is, it’s forgettable.

I stayed for the main couple but fell in love with Ju Ha and Kyu Sung! Their tragic past and lingering glances had me on the edge of my seat. Park Jin Woo’s acting when he’s heartbroken is incredible—he deserves more screentime. Even with limited scenes, they stole the show for me. If only the whole drama had their depth, it would be a 10/10.

Honestly, the OST was a letdown for a drama about an idol group. 'Pure Love' by Junghoon is catchy, but most background tracks feel random—happy songs during sad scenes, and no standout idol bops. The sound effects are over-the-top goofy too. I expected more musical identity from a show featuring K-pop stars. Still, the drama itself is charming if you ignore the audio missteps.

I enjoyed the fluff but couldn't ignore the questionable portrayal of manipulation. Si Yeol's revenge plan involves deceptive flirting, which is downplayed as 'he liked him all along.' The show never really addresses how messed up that is. Also, the fan-idol power dynamic is brushed aside. It's still a cute watch if you turn your brain off, but I wish they'd handled the ethics with more maturity.
