In this heartwarming yet heartbreaking short film from 2018, Pla-Thong lives with his best friend Tod—except Tod is dead. After a sudden accident, Tod’s spirit remains trapped in their shared apartment, unable to move on to the afterlife. Pla-Thong, who can see and interact with ghosts, is determined to help Tod discover his unfinished business. Through a series of hilarious and tender moments—including Tod’s obsessive love for a beauty product and their playful bickering—the two friends slowly confront their unspoken feelings for each other. As they piece together what’s holding Tod back, they realize the greatest unfinished business might be the love they never confessed. Beautifully acted by Krist Perawat and Singto Prachaya, this 17-minute gem balances laugh-out-loud comedy with devastating emotional depth. The music and direction elevate the story, creating a memorable experience that leaves you both smiling and in tears. Despite being a commercial advertisement, it’s a complete and satisfying romance that proves even a ghost can steal your heart.

I don't care if it's an ad - Krist and Singto together is all I need! This 17-minute masterpiece made me laugh, cry, and rewatch immediately. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the way they portray their love through silly antics and longing looks... I'm still not over it. Perfect for any fan who wants a quick dose of feels.

As a standalone story, this doesn't hold up. The ghost premise is inconsistent - he can touch things and interact like a living person, which undermines the drama. Plus it's clearly a beauty product commercial. The acting is fine, but calling it a top-tier BL is a stretch. Enjoyable for fanservice, but not a compelling narrative.

The music in this short film is incredible! The instrumental score perfectly captures the bittersweet mood - playful during the comedy, swelling with emotion in the final scene. It's rare for a 17-minute piece to have such a memorable soundtrack. I've been humming the main theme for days. It elevates the entire experience.

Visually, this is surprisingly well-shot for an advertisement. The warm lighting in the apartment contrasts with the melancholic undertones, and the close-ups capture the actors' micro-expressions beautifully. The color grading gives it a nostalgic, dreamy quality. Not groundbreaking, but aesthetically pleasing and well-directed.

While I appreciate the representation of queer love and the focus on emotional connection, the power dynamics between a living person and a ghost are problematic - Tod can't truly consent to a physical relationship once he's departed. The story is sweet but glosses over this. Also, it's a commercial for a beauty product, which commodifies the narrative. Worth watching for the acting, but with a critical eye.
